Frequently Asked Questions

We know you’ve got lots of questions, and we’ve got answers.

Most of the cases we deal with are road traffic accidents, but you may also have been overcharged on your legal fees for other types of claims such as accidents at work, medical negligence or a slip, trip or fall.

If you think you may have been overcharged, simply fill in our online form with a few details about your claim. We’ll take a look and let you know if we think we can help.

It’s simple. Just send us the details of your previous claim through our website and we’ll take a look.

If we think you may have been overcharged, we’ll give you a call to talk through your claim and get a few more details.

If we don’t think we can help you, we’ll let you know by email. If we cannot help, we will retain your information only for as long as necessary in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

No complicated forms, no pressure and no unnecessary hassle. Just a straightforward way to find out if you could be owed money.

Every case is different, so there’s no set timeframe. Some straightforward cases can be resolved in just a few weeks, while others may take a little longer depending on the circumstances.

As soon as we know more about your case, we’ll be able to give you a better idea of how long it may take. We’ll keep you updated along the way so you’re not left wondering what’s happening.

Don’t worry if you can’t find your paperwork. Depending on your circumstances, we may still be able to help you without it.

Every case is different, so the best thing to do is get in touch with us. We’ll talk you through what we need and let you know whether we can move forward with the information you have.

Don’t worry, the date of your accident isn’t the important part. What matters is when you signed up with your solicitor.

The funding rules changed on 1st April 2013. The claims we currently investigate generally concern agreements entered into on or after that date. It was after this change that some solicitors began taking more than they should from their clients’ compensation.

Checking your eligibility is completely free. There’s no cost to find out whether you could be entitled to a refund.

If you’re eligible and decide to use our service, the fee will depend on your individual case. We’ll explain the fee clearly and agree it with you before you go ahead, so you’ll always know what to expect.

If you’re not eligible for a refund, you won’t pay us anything.
